Originally from Chicago, I knew I was destined to spend the rest of my life in Japan the moment I set foot in the country at the tender age of 16. However, I was quite intent on spending that rest of my life in a major city with a full on career, until my Japanese Prince Charming came trotting down from the mountains of Nagano to sweep me off my feet and whisk me away, turning my whole life plan on its head. Two months after moving to Nagano I gave birth to our first little Princess Charming, followed by a second Princess 2 years later. Until now I have mostly been a SAHM, teaching belly dance on the side, but at the moment I am unbelievably pregnant with TWINS!  My current intention for this blog is to document anything and everything about my experience being pregnant with twins as it will (hopefully) be the last time I am ever pregnant, and being pregnant with twins is pretty special.

  1. Hi! I have been lurking on your blog for quite a while. If you don’t mind sending me your password I would love to continue reading 🙂

  2. Thank you for your comment on my blog today. I appreciate it and I am glad you enjoy visiting! And I am even more glad to meet someone else straddling worlds – it’s a very rich experience while simultaneously turning your very existence upside down, isn’t it? I wouldn’t trade it for anything! Have you read Christine’s blog http://www.origamimommy.org? She lives in Japan now, and has feet there and in the US. She writes wonderfully!
